I. Questions
1) Katherine Birbalsingh believes that
the "system is broken because it keeps poor children poor". The system
of education doesn’t want that pupils become bad with bad mark. Students stay
on the bottom of the social ladder because they are poor on the social
background.
2) Students have to make a success of
their exam. But in contrary, teachers give excuses if they do not make a
success of their exam. She says that it is a "culture of excuses",
because teachers give excuses to excuse the students for their bad behavior at
school because students aren’t responsible of themselves. It’s that why, this
problem on this education exists. For the education, teachers are responsible
of children and education. But teacher can’t help all children because the
government doesn’t help teachers.
3) This government ministers think that the discipline is very
important and he supports teachers. They think that
certain schools aren’t equal comparing to others schools. Consequently, they
want help teachers.
The future teachers
don’t learn to manage the behavior of the pupils. I think that the government will
be better if he decides to prepare the professors to become good teachers.
4) Katherine Birbalsingh says:

5) She wants to give more power to
teachers. Moreover, she wants to try to stop
the fall of the level of the examinations. Teachers should be honest.
II. My opinion
In French, the system of the
education is difficult for certain pupils who don’t manage to follow the course.
That is why, they decide to stop the school early. What is not a good thing to
do, I think.
In the French system, there are many reforms in the
education. Consequently, the pupils have to follow the movement even if that
doesn’t please them. He has to adapt himself with the government. Every
generation knows modifications in the system. What is disturbing for the
pupils, what don’t know any more as studies. For example, my relatives hadn’t the
same system that me and my children will have a various of mine.
Today, even if we continue our studies and even if we
have our diplomas, we aren’t sure to find a work. Thus, for what that serves to
make long studies if we don’t find a work? When we have to meet a boss for a
work, he says to us that we have enough qualifications. But if we do not give us
our chance, how to have qualifications? It is a sort of vicious circle.
